River Memorial Garden

An underwater wonder-world riverbed garden for cremated remains memorialisation and interment

The concept is to produce an ethereal environment to ‘transport’ people to another world. The winding path through creates a feeling of the movement of the current, the snaking bench compliments it like an eel or river bed reeds, the unusually large trout and salmon give the illusion of scale underwater.

The bonded gravel base, sandstone cast stone and themed steel screens, large wooden salmon and trout features, bulrushes, insects and other river creatures provide the textures and feel to continue the theme of a natural and friendly environment which enhances this magical experience.
